In August 2017 Moses Lake hosted the annual Technicians Skills Competition. Mechanics from around the state attend and participate in learning new skills in diagnostic and maintenance along with the all-important repair of diesel engines. Each Technician must complete a 50 question test on all aspects of service and diagnostics of a diesel engine. They then compete in a four station diagnostic test to find and correct defects found on the bus. They have 15 minutes per station to complete this diagnosis. The competition is very fierce, as these are highly qualified and well trained technicians. These are the best of the best!!
