Protecting Our Athletes

At high school and college events across Washington, teams will be donning small helmet stickers on the back of each player’s helmet.  The sticker represents the cumulative efforts of these schools and the Washington State Athletic Trainers’ Association towards improving safety in youth football in the state of Washington. EVHS is proud to be participating in this program.

East Valley High School has gone above and beyond by having sports medicine healthcare provided by Virginia Mason Memorial’s Sports Medicine Advantage program, which provides a Licensed Athletic Trainer to EVHS.  Specializing in the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions.  The athletic trainer for EVHS works each and every day to ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
