Welcome to East Valley School District’s Teaching and Learning page. At EVSD we are committed to our implementation of the Big 5 Initiative through the goals and objectives outlined in the District Strategic Plan. We are currently focused on the implementation of effective Professional Learning Communities throughout our District to ensure we are providing high quality learning experiences, effectively utilizing assessment data, and engaging students in targeted interventions and enrichments, to meet the needs of all students. With a growth mindset, we emphasize a year’s growth or more by all of our students, no matter where their beginning point is, with the goal of all students reaching mastery of the Common Course State Standards. The Teaching and Learning Department is dedicated to providing the necessary resources and supports for staff and students to reach our mission to “Empower and Inspire All in the Pursuit of Excellence.”
