Terrace Heights Elementary Welcomes New Interim Assistant Principal

Please join us in welcoming Gabriel Gonzalez to the East Valley School District as the new Interim Assistant Principal of Terrace Heights Elementary! 

A longtime Yakima Valley resident, Gabriel brings a wealth of experience in education and school leadership across Washington. He began his teaching career in the Selah School District in 2015 before serving as a Special Education teacher in the Toppenish School District. He later became Dean of Students in the Mabton School District and most recently served as Elementary Principal in the Lind School District, where he also directed districtwide English Learner (EL), Migrant, Assessment, and Clock Hour programs. He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.

Outside of school, Gabriel, his wife, who is also an educator, and their three children enjoy spending time together outdoors and being active in the Yakima Valley community.
