I hope you had a wonderful weekend! As we head into another exciting week at East Valley Elementary, I want to take a moment to thank our amazing school community for all the support, kindness, and involvement you continue to show our Jaguars!

Thank you to all of our students and families for participating in last week's Bully Prevention Spirit Week! It was wonderful to see our Jaguars showing their support for kindness, respect, and making sure everyone feels safe, welcomed, and included at EVE. Together, we continue to reinforce the importance of treating others with kindness and helping every student feel that they belong!

A HUGE thank-you to our amazing PTO and all of the staff members who helped make this year's Trunk or Treat such a HUGE success! We are so grateful for the time, creativity, and effort that went into creating such a fun and memorable evening for our students and families. It was wonderful to see our community come together and celebrate!

We are incredibly fortunate to have such a supportive school community that continues to go above and beyond for our Jaguars! 

As we finish out the month of October this week and transition into November, the weather is beginning to change, and temperatures are getting colder.

Our students are encouraged to play outside during recess whenever weather conditions allow. Please help your child come to school dressed appropriately for the changing weather, including a warm coat, comfortable clothing, and other items they may need to stay warm while playing outside.

If your family is experiencing financial challenges and your child is in need of a warm coat, please reach out to Mrs. Krish, our Counseling TOSA. We have received several coat donations from our generous local churches, and we would be happy to help connect families with these resources.

We want to make sure all of our Jaguars have what they need to stay warm, comfortable, and ready to enjoy their time at school. Please don't hesitate to reach out if we can help!

November will be a busy and exciting month at EVE as we prepare for some amazing activities and opportunities for our students and families!

On Tuesday, November 10 at 2:15 PM, East Valley Elementary will hold a special Veterans Day Assembly to honor and recognize the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country in the U.S. Armed Forces.

We would also like to recognize family members of our EVE students who are veterans or currently serving. We will honor them as part of our Veterans Day celebration and include their stories in a special video.

Get ready for a fun-filled evening of sports, dancing, and making memories!

The East Valley School District invites our families to the Mother & Sons All-Star Bash.

🎟️ Tickets: $25 for mother and son; $5 for each additional son
