Principal Message

🐾 Hello, EVE Families!
Happy Sunday, EVE Families! 🐾
I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween weekend! As we wrap up the festivities and head into November, I want to give a HUGE shout-out to our amazing EVE staff! As you can imagine, a school day filled with the excitement and energy of Halloween can be quite an adventure! Our staff embraced the fun, kept students engaged, and helped make it a memorable experience for our Jaguars. I am so grateful for their flexibility, positive attitudes, and willingness to make special memories with our students!

📚 Conference Week: November 2–6
We are looking forward to connecting with families during our upcoming Conference Week! Please remember that students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m. every day, Monday through Friday. Please make any necessary arrangements for your child's early dismissal throughout the week.
Families should have already scheduled a conference time with their child's teacher. These meetings are an important opportunity to celebrate student growth, discuss progress, and work together to support each child's continued success.
A few important reminders:
  • Monday and Tuesday are late conference nights, with staff available until 7:30 p.m. to help accommodate families' work schedules.
  • If you are unable to attend your scheduled conference, please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements.
  • Please make every effort to arrive on time. If you arrive late, you may need to wait until the teacher is available, and we may need to reschedule your conference to another time to ensure everyone receives their scheduled meeting time.
We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we work to make conference week a positive and productive experience for everyone!

📖 PTO Scholastic Book Fair Nov. 2-6
Our amazing EVE PTO will also be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair in the school library during Conference Week! This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to explore new books and find something exciting to read.
The Book Fair will be open during the following times:
  • Monday: 9:25am –7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 8:25am –7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 8:25am –4:10p.m.
  • Thurs-Friday: 8:25am –1p.m.
Students will also have opportunities to visit the Book Fair before school and during the school day through their scheduled library classes. This will give students a chance to browse and purchase books during their school day as well.
A big thank-you to our PTO for organizing this opportunity and helping encourage a love of reading among our Jaguars! 🐾

Our 5th Grade Leadership Team is kicking off EVE's Annual Canned Food Challenge this week! This friendly classroom competition is all about coming together to support our local food banks and make a positive difference in our community.
We are challenging our Jaguars to help us collect as many donations as possible! While canned food and unopened box food items are always appreciated, the food bank would especially love holiday meal sides as we get closer to the holiday season.
There are also some fun incentives along the way!
  • The homeroom that collects the most items will earn a special sweet treat!
  • Students who donate 5 items will receive a raffle ticket. Students can earn additional tickets for every five items donated!
  • Raffle winners will be announced at our November assembly and invited to participate in a fun staff activity!

EVE Parent Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Parking, Bus Expectations, and Procedures

Please Review Parent Safety Guide Link Below

🚗 Parent Safety Guide Link

MORNING DRIVE-UP DROP-OFF PROCEDURES

This is a friendly reminder about our morning drive-up drop-off procedures to help ensure a safe and efficient arrival for all students.
The drive-up lane is designed for quick drop-off only, where students are able to exit the vehicle independently. To keep the line moving smoothly and to reduce safety concerns, we ask that families follow these expectations:
  • Please remain in your vehicle at all times while in the drive-up lane.
  • Vehicles should not park, turn off engines, or stop for extended periods in the drop-off line.
  • Students should be ready to exit promptly once the vehicle reaches the drop-off area.
  • If your child needs assistance getting out of the car or walking to the building, please park in the lot and escort them safely to the entrance.

These procedures are important to minimize delays and, most importantly, to keep all students and families safe during our busiest arrival time.
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we work together to maintain a smooth and safe morning routine for everyone. 🐾
