The Business Department is responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the school district's budget, financial statements, enrollment reports/projections and other related financial reports. The Department is made up of Accounting, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. Department staff allocate funds based on needs, pay the bills, invest the money, run payroll, and direct the budgeting, accounting and purchasing operations of the district.
Overall, the Business Office is in charge of establishing and monitoring procedures and policy to ensure the district has, and follows, a sound fiscal plan. The department is also responsible for workers compensation and risk management.
