Assistance Programs-P-EBT updated 6/14/23

Pandemic EBT has been extended.

This summer, East Valley School District (EVSD) families will each receive a letter in the mail and one Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) card per student enrolled in the East Valley School District during the 2022-2023 school year. A single payment of $120 will be loaded onto each card. All EVSD families will receive them regardless of income as EVSD is part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows us to offer free breakfast and lunch to all enrolled students. Exclusions of benefits may apply to students who did not have regular access to meals on campus.

If your family has received a P-EBT card in the past, you will receive a benefit letter in the mail and existing P-EBT cards will be re-loaded with funds. If you do not have your P-EBT cards anymore, you can call the P-EBT Contact Center at 1-833-518-0282 to ask for a replacement card. Families who have never received a P-EBT card will receive a letter and card(s) in the mail. The letters will also include information for families who wish to decline P-EBT benefits. Funds cannot be gifted or donated.

If you have changed addresses this school year, please make sure your current address is updated with your student’s school building. If you do not make the corrections and do not receive your P-EBT card, you will need to contact DSHS and make the corrections. The EVSD will not be able to make them for you.

The East Valley School District does not have information about when funds will be added to the P-EBT cards and recommend signing up for text message alerts to receive P-EBT updates. Sign up here: https://www.textpebt.dshs.wa.gov/.
