New East Valley High School Principal Announced

The East Valley School District is proud to announce that Ryan McDaniel will become the next Principal of East Valley High School, effective July 1, 2021.
Mr. McDaniel has over 22 years of experience in public education, serving in the role of math teacher, assistant principal, and principal. He began his teaching career in the (click on title to read more).

Chromebook and Hotspot Collection Information

Chromebook & Hotspot Turn-in dates: Each of our schools will be collecting Chromebooks and EVSD hotspots on designated dates, however if your student is unable to return them on the date of your school’s collection (or they are attending virtually), they can be returned to the East Valley School District Administration Office on Thursday, June 17th from 8:00 am – 11:00 am and 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

EVC collected Chromebooks and hotspots from students attending in-person June 10-11. Virtual students can drop their Chromebooks off at EVC on June 16th until 3:30pm.

EVHS Chromebooks and hotspot collection will be on June 14th and 15th for 9th-11th graders. Seniors turned in their Chromebooks on June 8th-June10th.

Wednesdays at EVC & EVHS are usually virtual or by invite only. For the last day of school, all in-person students are invited to attend in-person to participate in year-end activities.

EVSD Communications Survey

Our annual Communications Survey is now open. We welcome your open and honest feedback about the communication you have received from the East Valley School District so far this school year. New Moxee Elementary Principal Announced (English and Spanish)

It is with great pleasure that we announce Roel Juarez as the new Principal of Moxee Elementary effective July 1, 2021. Mr. Juarez began his career with the East Valley School District in 2009. His first roles were as a substitute teacher and coach. He was hired at EVC in 2014 as a computer science and health teacher. Return to All Day, In-person Classes for EVC and EVHS (English and Spanish)

East Valley Central and East Valley High School will be resuming all day, in-person school beginning Thursday, May 20th. The Yakima Health District announced on May 10, 2021, that Yakima County COVID-19 case counts were below 200 cases per 100,000 over 14 days, which allows secondary schools (middle and high schools) to return to all day, in-person classes with 3’ social distancing and mask requirements.
