As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, children have experienced more stress from changes in their routines, breaks in the continuity of learning and health care, missed life events, and an overall loss of security and safety. Children and teens are struggling in ways that we have not seen before. This presentation will cover: signs to watch for in your children, anxiety and depression, ways for parents to help their children thrive and how to seek appropriate mental health care when needed.
